Admissions

Where students grow—and parents have a say.

At Concordia Academy, we partner with families to provide a Classical & Christian education that forms students academically, spiritually, and personally. With small class sizes, a strong sense of community, and an approach rooted in faith and purpose, we walk alongside parents every step of the way.

We serve families on two campuses, united by one mission.

Primary School — Derby Campus

Preschool through 8th Grade

208 S. Derby Ave, Derby, KS

Our Primary School campus serves students from Preschool through 8th Grade in a warm, neighborhood environment where children are known, supported, and encouraged to grow.

What families love about our Derby campus:

  • Classical & Christian education taught “with the grain” of how children grow
  • Small class sizes (ideal class size ~12 students)
  • A strong focus on parent partnership
  • Humanities-rich learning that fosters curiosity and lifelong learning
  • A joyful, faith-centered school culture

We invite families to visit our Derby campus, tour classrooms, and learn more about our mission, curriculum, and community. Our admissions team is happy to answer questions and walk with you through the next steps.

High School — Wichita Campus

Grades 9–12

  • A partnership with parents that continues through the high school years

Our Approach: Classical & Christian Education

Our Approach: Classical & Christian Education

At Concordia Academy, we believe education should follow the natural stages of learning:

  • Grammar – building strong foundations and knowledge
  • Logic – developing critical thinking and reasoning
  • Rhetoric – learning to communicate ideas clearly and confidently

Grounded in Christian faith, this approach helps students grow not only academically, but as thoughtful, engaged individuals prepared for life.

Partnering with Parents

Partnering with Parents

Parents play a vital role in education, and at Concordia Academy, we take that seriously.

As our Headmaster shares:

“We feel like we work for the parents.”

We strive to:

  • Maintain open communication
  • Welcome parent involvement and questions
  • Support families in the goals they have for their children
  • Create a school culture built on trust and shared purpose
